Architecture Design Studio: Core 7 — Integrations

This studio frames the integrated design process as a singular act in which technical development is inseparable from ideation; tectonic and technological developments are used to extend and realize the project's core architectural intentions. The studio focuses on the design of a complex civic or institutional building where students engage with multifaceted programs, combining public-facing interfaces with administrative, operational, and support infrastructures. Modeled after a collaborative mode of practice, students work in partnerships to simulate the professional environment, engaging with consultants to navigate advanced structural analysis, envelope, and systems coordination.
