PJ Dick Innovation Fund Round 3 Awardees Celebration

Join us in our research facility at 6555 Penn Avenue, near Bakery Square in Pittsburgh's East End, as we celebrate the third round recipients of the PJ Dick Innovation Fund Faculty Grants Program.
The program supports the pedagogical mission of the school through faculty research and teaching innovations. The projects address the school's three pedagogical challenges of climate change, social justice, and artificial intelligence. The program supports the diverse work of Carnegie Mellon Architecture's faculty in creative practice, professional practice, artistic practice, funded research, participatory design, design build, curation, scholarship, critical and digital humanities, and more.

The facility is located at 6555 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15206. No parking is available in the 6555 Penn Avenue lot. From campus, attendees can travel by bike, public transit, or the CMU Shuttle to Bakery Square. See below for a map and parking information:
1) 6555 Penn Avenue: No parking available in lot.
2) Bakery Square Parking Garage: 2 hours free parking on weekdays. Take a ticket when entering. After parking, walk along Penn Avenue to the 6555 Penn parking lot. Entry to our facility is in the middle of the lot. Enter Door C near the loading docks.
3) Mellon Spray Park Parking: 4 hours free parking. Enter the lot off Fifth Avenue. Walk through Mellon Park and cross Penn Avenue to the 6555 Penn parking lot. Entry to our facility is in the middle of the lot. Enter Door C near the loading docks.
4) Beechwood Blvd. Parking: Free, no time limit. After parking, walk along Penn Avenue to the 6555 Penn parking lot. Entry to our facility is in the middle of the lot. Enter Door C near the loading docks.
