CMU New Graduate Student Orientation

August 11-13, 2025

Carnegie Mellon University will host the University New Graduate Student Orientation on August 11-13, 2025. It is required for all new entering graduate students. Orientation programming and registration as well as other important information for incoming graduate students will be posted to the university’s Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs webpage. Carnegie Mellon Architecture New Graduate Student Orientation

August 18-20, 2025

Carnegie Mellon Architecture's Graduate Program Orientation is scheduled for Monday, August 18-Wednesday, August 20, 2025. This orientation gives you an opportunity to meet other architecture graduate students, receive an introduction and overview of your program, and learn more about administrative policies and procedures.

Monday, August 18 - In-person
