CMU New Graduate Student Orientation
August 11-13, 2025
Carnegie Mellon University will host a series of in-person orientation events for all incoming graduate students across academic programs from August 11–13. While these events are not required by the School of Architecture or the university, we strongly encourage you to attend, as they are an excellent way to support your transition into the CMU community.

Carnegie Mellon Architecture New Graduate Student Orientation
August 18-20, 2025
Carnegie Mellon Architecture's Graduate Program Orientation is scheduled for Monday, August 18-Wednesday, August 20, 2025. This orientation gives you an opportunity to meet other architecture graduate students, receive an introduction and overview of your program, and learn more about administrative policies and procedures.
