Benjamin J. C. Mall

Benjamin J. C. Mall is a licensed Professional Engineer and Structural Engineer registered in over 19 states with extensive experience in structural engineering, project management, and technical leadership. He currently serves as Structural Department Manager at Middough, Inc., where he oversees structural engineering teams in Pittsburgh and Northwest Indiana, manages project quality, budgets, schedules, and deliverables, and provides technical oversight for the structural aspects of heavy industrial projects.

Mall has more than a decade of structural engineering experience spanning industrial facilities, commercial buildings, high-rise residential projects, healthcare facilities, and structural renovations. Prior to Middough, he served as Civil/Structural Department Manager at CSD Engineers and as a Structural Engineer at Keystone Structural Solutions. Earlier in his career, he worked with McNamara Salvia Structural Engineers in Boston, Mass., contributing to major projects including 22- and 25-story residential towers, among other high-rises.

He holds a Master of Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Notre Dame. He has presented at national engineering conferences, contributed to industry publications, and has been recognized by the National Council of Structural Engineers Association (NCSEA) for his contributions to young professionals. He also has extensive teaching and mentoring experience.
