This course introduces students to the regulatory frameworks that shape architectural practice, including building codes, zoning ordinances, site restrictions, and construction systems. Students learn to interpret and apply these requirements as part of the design process, evaluating their implications for feasibility, safety and sustainability. Emphasis is placed on navigating regulations as both constraints and opportunities, preparing future architects and urban designers to operate with technical rigor, ethical responsibility, and creative vision.
